My first programming idea was a TTRPG data "filing cabinet", so I illegally downloaded Visual Basic 6 and proceeded to fail spectacularly at my task. Maybe 30 years later I use my decades of experience to give it another shot.

I have spent more time learning than doing, but it's not as simple as "get to work!", knowing how my brain works. "Always be learning" is a great sentiment but can actually lead to "learning burnout".
